Hampton Inn Harbourgate - North Myrtle Beach

The location is fantastic, close to various attractions like the beach and local parks. I stayed for a family trip, and while the breakfast was good, the pool was not well maintained . The staff were friendly and accommodating, but some amenities need serious attention. It was a decent stay, but improvements are needed.

Ice box was froze up so was not cold. People in and out was a bit scarey as we pulled up. Dirty appearance. Very little room to set outside with family we met there. Would never stay there again.

The room was well-appointed and very spacious, offering excellent accessibility features. The breakfast options included a variety of delicious hot items that catered to different tastes. The checkout staff member was particularly friendly, which helped ease our frustrations from the check-in process.

I was not notified of the renovations being made at the hotel. Initially made reservations for a king suite with the whirlpool tub was given a handicapped accessible king suite no whirlpool tub. Manager was informed she was only willing to slightly adjust the rate. Not to mention the swimming pool was dirty.

Nice stay but some hiccups

The breakfast was pretty solid, tho I had to complain at first 'cause they burnt my cheese omelet! The staff was friendly, but the kitchen vibes were loud and a bit chaotic. My room was decent, but it could use a couple more chairs for comfort.

I had just stayed at the Hampton Inn in Wilmington, NC. The one at Wilmington was much nicer, rooms bigger and cheaper per night.

Everything was great and rooms were well-maintained and brand-new. Liked our rooms with sofa bed. Had clean amenities. The service was friendly in our opinion. The location was favourable for traveling around Myrtle Beach, near very relaxing. North Myrtle Beach district was worth staying in.

Checked in for a birthday getaway and the check-in process was smooth with a free bottle of water, a nice touch. I loved the chance to relax by the saltwater pool after a busy day, but the breakfast could use a little upgrade since I noticed some minor kitchen noise during the mornings. I had a great stay but the bathroom could have been cleaner, so maybe they could up their game there 😊
